No Security in Prachanda’s Government

On Dec 29, 2023, near the time of the celebration of New Year 2024, two aspirants were killed in broad daylight during the clash with Nepal Police in Lalitpur. They were barricaded from sitting at an exam for employment in South Korea. The whole country is still in mourning and fighting for justice, but Prachanda’s government and Home Minister Narayan Kaji Shrestha were celebrating this loss with silence. Nearly two months have passed, but still, the government has not shown any interest in this case.

All mainstream media and opposition parties are talking about it, however, since the whole government is on the Dictator’s hand, nothing has happened. Many youths are forced to fly abroad because of the unstable government, poverty, and lack of opportunities in Nepal.

When the inflation is going up every year, the employment opportunities are degrading every year. In the last fiscal year 2022/23, a total of 22,922 Nepali Youth workers reached Korea. Nepal is at the forefront of sending workers to Korea through the EPS system. A laborer going to Korea has a term of four years and 10 months.

This would never have happened if the government were in good hands. Many resources have not been utilized because of mismanagement. Many opportunities are not available. The commander and chief of the country, Prachanda, is directly responsible for all these incidents and has complete control over the country.

If youths are not protected, how can we imagine our future without youths?  The younger generation is the future of the country. Sadly, future generations are being killed even before they start. This should stop! The Maoist Party and Prachanda should be abolished.
